Wolfenstein II The New Colossus PlayStation 4

It’s 1961, and Nazi-controlled America needs a resistance. Wolfenstein II The New Colossus sends BJ “Terror-Billy” Blazkowicz back into the fight after the events of The New Order, developed by MachineGames on id Tech 6.

Wolfenstein II The New Colossus Features

• Play as BJ Blazkowicz, recruiting the boldest resistance leaders left in Nazi-occupied America
• Fight through iconic American locations with an arsenal of badass guns and new dual-wielding abilities
• Choose from three unlockable Contraptions mid-game, each granting new traversal and combat abilities
• Built on id Tech 6, the same engine that powers DOOM (2016), for fast, brutal combat
• The Freedom Chronicles adds three short DLC campaigns, each following a different unrelated protagonist

Built for Relentless Combat

id Tech 6 keeps the action fast and fluid, so Wolfenstein II The New Colossus never lets up between its story beats and its firefights. The dual-wielding system specifically rewards aggressive players, letting BJ carry two different weapons simultaneously for situational flexibility mid-firefight rather than switching between a single loadout.

The three Contraptions, unlocked through story choices, each open up a different playstyle. One grants a battle-walker style traversal boost, another improves stealth capabilities, and the third focuses on raw combat power, giving players a genuine build decision partway through the campaign rather than a fixed toolkit from the start.

Spark the Revolution

If DOOM’s speed and violence appealed to you, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus brings that same energy to an alternate-history fight against fascism. The Freedom Chronicles DLC campaigns add extra value beyond the main story, each one following a different resistance fighter across separate, self-contained missions.
