Copper launched October 30, 2018, as one of three new metallic finishes alongside Silver and Gold. A warm, bronze-toned shell replaces the standard solid black or white.

Copper launched as a timed GameStop exclusive in North America before wider release. So, it’s held a slightly more limited-edition reputation than Sony’s standard color lineup.
