Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! Nintendo Switch

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu remakes Pokémon Yellow for Nintendo Switch. Trainers Chase and Elaine head into Kanto, and Pikachu rides along as a visible partner. Along the way, you’ll battle Gym Leaders, rival Trainers, and the scheming Team Rocket.

However, catching wild Pokémon works differently here. Instead of turn-based battles, you throw Poké Balls using motion controls, or simple button presses in handheld mode. Either way, catching stays quick, active, and satisfying.

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu Features:

• Remakes Pokémon Yellow and sets the story in Kanto, featuring the original 151 Pokémon plus Mega Evolution and Alolan Forms
• Wild Pokémon appear in the overworld. Just throw Poké Balls with motion controls, or use a quick button press instead
• Pikachu rides visibly on your shoulder, and you can dress it up with a range of outfits and accessories
• The Poké Ball Plus accessory carries a Pokémon into the real world. It also holds the Mythical Pokémon Mew as a bonus
• Connect to Pokémon GO to send Kanto Pokémon between games, including Alolan and Shiny forms. It also unlocks the Mythical Pokémon Meltan
• A second Joy-Con or Poké Ball Plus adds two-player co-op, so a friend can explore Kanto and catch alongside you
