Planet Zoo Console Edition PlayStation 5

Planet Zoo: Console Edition brings Frontier’s award-winning, BAFTA-nominated zoo simulator to PS5. It comes straight from the makers of Planet Coaster and Zoo Tycoon. The team rebuilt the controls from scratch for consoles instead of porting the PC version. You get the same creative toolset, now built for a controller.

This isn’t a stripped-down debut. It launches with years of content, animals, and updates that the PC version earned since release. PS5 players get a fully grown zoo-builder from day one.

Planet Zoo: Console Edition Features

• Every animal behaves like a living individual. Each one has its own habits, moods, and quirks that shape how it reacts to the habitat you build.
• Career takes you around the globe. Franchise links up multiple zoos. Challenge tests your skills. Sandbox lets you build freely.
• Terrain tools let you dig lakes, raise cliffs, and lay paths by hand. Add hundreds of scenery pieces to match each species’ natural environment.
• Breed animals across generations. Release them into conservation programs for a long-term goal beyond running a profitable zoo.
• Share your finished habitats and zoos with other players. The cross-platform Frontier Workshop makes it easy to swap builds.
• The console version includes everything the PC version picked up in post-launch updates. You get every species, biome, and feature from day one.
