Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Nintendo Switch

Link’s Awakening Switch reimagines the 1993 Game Boy classic with a diorama-style art direction. Link washes ashore on Koholint Island and must collect magical instruments to wake the Wind Fish.

Chief among the new additions is Dampé’s Chamber Dungeon, a tool for building your own mini-dungeons. Meanwhile, renovated mini-games — the Trendy Game, river rapids, and fishing — hide extra Chambers and Super Mario-themed figures.

Link’s Awakening Switch Features:

• Full remake of the 1993 Game Boy original with a claymation-inspired diorama art style
• Dampé’s Chamber Dungeon lets players unlock completed dungeon rooms and arrange them into custom, objective-based challenges for rewards
• New quality-of-life features let players equip more items at once and review key past conversations. They can also navigate the map in updated ways
• The Trendy Game crane machine in Mabe Village rewards ten collectible figures based on Super Mario characters, including Yoshi
• Amiibo support unlocks additional Chamber Dungeon pieces, including compatibility with the included Link amiibo
• Classic dungeon puzzles and items like the Roc’s Feather and Power Bracelet return largely intact. Enemies borrowed from the Super Mario series, like Piranha Plants, also make an appearance
