Kirby absorbs enemies to gain their powers, swapping between abilities on the fly to solve puzzles and clear obstacles. Fire, Sword, Ice, and dozens of other Copy Abilities each open up different routes through a level, so replaying an area with a different power often reveals a path that wasn’t available the first time through. This Deluxe edition adds new story content and an expanded epilogue absent from the original Wii release, giving longtime fans a reason to revisit Popstar even if they’ve finished the game before.

Gameplay Highlights
Up to four players can join locally, with extra players controlling Bandana Waddle Dee, King Dedede, or Meta Knight. Each of those characters plays differently enough that co-op sessions rarely feel like everyone is doing the same thing, which keeps repeat playthroughs interesting for a group. The difficulty stays accessible throughout, making this a genuinely good entry point for younger or newer players, while collectibles and hidden extras still give more experienced players something to chase.
