Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Nintendo Switch 2

DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined brings a PS1 classic back to life on Switch 2. Square Enix rebuilt it from the ground up. HEXADrive gave it a whole new handcrafted diorama look, similar to Fantasian.

You play a fisherman’s son on the quiet island of Estard. A simple question about the wider world leads you and your friends to the Shrine of Mysteries. From there, you get pulled back through time into a bigger fight than you expected.

DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined Features

• Explore Estard Island and travel through time to uncover lands sealed away by a hidden evil
• See the world rendered in a brand-new diorama art style, built in Unreal Engine 4
• Battle scenes now show your character’s actual weapon and shield, matching the style of Dragon Quest VIII and XI
• Follow a streamlined story told through vignettes, paced tighter than the original 2000 release
• Enjoy quality-of-life upgrades like a redesigned UI for faster access to menus and information
• Physical Switch 2 copies ship as a Game Key Card, so check the case before you buy
