Challenging Platforming Gameplay

The game combines traditional side-scrolling platforming with demanding level design. You will jump between platforms, swing across environments, avoid hazards and battle memorable bosses.

Furthermore, different Kong characters provide different abilities. Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong can assist during cooperative gameplay, giving players additional ways to approach difficult sections.

Funky Mode

Nintendo Switch also introduces Funky Kong as a playable option in Funky Mode. His surfboard-based abilities make certain difficult sections more accessible. He can double jump, hover, perform extended rolls and move through underwater sections with greater freedom.
