Bloodborne Hits PlayStation 4

Yharnam is dying, one beast at a time. Developed by FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, Bloodborne trades Dark Souls’ shield-and-wait defense for fast, aggressive, punishing combat.

Games Features:

• Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of the Dark Souls series, published exclusively for PS4
• Play as a Hunter chasing the mysterious cure known as Paleblood, only to uncover Yharnam’s darkest secrets
• Combat drops the traditional shield block in favor of speed and aggression, punishing hesitation
• Fragmented NPC dialogue and the city’s architecture reward curiosity without ever explaining the story outright
• The Old Hunters expansion, sold separately, adds a new area and additional bosses for those wanting more

Built for Aggressive Combat
Removing the shield block forces a different rhythm than Dark Souls — Bloodborne wants you attacking, not turtling, and the whole design reflects that.
